About the Chef

My life has taken me across the globe from here to there where I grew up all legs and arms on the tropical island of Sri Lanka with views of green tiered tea plantations stretching across mountain tops to the bustling Southern tip of India with spices and flavors that assail one's senses to the white sands of the Middle East along the turquoise Mediterranean sea to basking in the warm California sun... my taste and style reflect the infusion of worldwide cuisine.

My culinary career began the day I said 'I do' and realized that I needed to feed not only myself but my food loving husband who truly reflects the notion that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. With that shove into the kitchen, I soon began to fall in love with all things cooking from the pungent aroma of ground spices to the sizzle of the oil in the pan that became music to my ears. This self-inflicted culinary training led to the immersion of knowledge while I waded through various cookbooks and Food television finally landing me at the Professional Culinary Institute where I trained under the finest chefs learning the ins and outs of French cooking.

Here I am today, following my passion of food and flavor punctuated with an eye for design and the flair for couture bringing gourmet cooking and event planning to you.
